Wine, Imagery, and Cat-Cows: The Humorous (But Not Actually Medical) Guide to Back Pain Relief

While I love a good laugh, back pain is no joke. So, here's my attempt at a funny answer with some actual advice:


First, find a sturdy table and a bottle of your favorite wine (or grape juice if you prefer). Lie down on the table with your feet up on a chair and pour yourself a glass of wine. Now, close your eyes and imagine yourself in a peaceful vineyard with the sun shining down on your face. Take a few deep breaths and feel your back muscles start to relax.


Next, gently stretch your back by pulling your knees up to your chest and holding for 30 seconds. Then, slowly roll your knees from side to side to loosen up your lower back.


Finally, stand up and do a few cat-cow stretches, bending and arching your spine. And voila! With a little bit of relaxation, stretching, and some mental imaging, you should feel some relief from your back pain. But if the pain persists, please consult a medical professional.
